An original late 1950s or early 1960s cocktail dress, its in a combination of a jet black rayon crepe bodice, contrasted with a gorgeous lightweight silk skirt in a fabulous modernistic, painterly flower peony print in deep lipstick red and cerise pink. The bodice is beautifully designed with a draped cummerbund that extends flatteringly just slightly below the natural waist, with released back tucks and a wrap bust, with bust darts and partially released princess seams for that softly- sculpted look; below, the breezy skirt is finely pleated from the waist. Divine. this marvellous original dress is ready to pair up with those point toe kitten heels for the next fun vintage event or soiree, or it could take centre stage in a tv or film production where her wounds are overshadowed by her Wow factor!Vintage black bodice with floral skirt part peony pink red .
