This listing is for a set of 4 vintage Italian cutwork embroidery pillow shams/pillow cases.
Lovely scalloped edges on the ends complete the design.
I believe this style of Italian Cutwork embroidery to be called Punto Tagliato.
They are laid out so that whether it is the left or the right side, the design on the pillow will be upright.
Double Rectangle border with a pretty scroll/floral design in the middle.
They measure approximately 33 wide by 21 tall.
2 of the pillow cases are stamped Made in Italy in a darker green ink.
No tears, holes, or rips.
There are lots of random scattered spots; rust spots, ink marks, blue spots, and such.
One of the cases still has a orange/yellow colored piece of thin paper inside, so you can see the cut work embroidery better.
