This vintage Kiraku Grampus fly fishing rod is a true gem for any angler. Crafted in Japan, it features a split bamboo hex design and comes with a wooden box for safekeeping. The rod is perfect for all freshwater fish species and has a brand name that speaks for itself. There are four rod extensions of varying lengths which are explained on the included paperwork. This was difficult to photograph, please forgive my lack of skill. If more info is needed, please feel free to message me. The rod can be configured into six different types of rods: an 8-foot fly rod, a 6 1/4-foot fly rod, an 8-foot still fishing rod, a 6 1/2-foot light trolling rod, a 5 1/2-foot bait casting rod, and a 1-piece bait casting rod. The instructions detail the use of a reducing ferrule and a reversible butt to achieve these different configurations.
The box has one or two missing hinges, otherwise it is in very good condition.
