What a spectacular hat from the 1960s'! This hat is made of stiff straw created into a TAM shape, and bent at the front . The edges of the hat are covered in a band of sequins and beads. A straw band crosses the front of the hat and is covered in the same band of sequins and beads. The top of the hat is sprinkled with beads and rhinestones around the front. What auniquely stunning look!A tam, short for Tam O’ Shanter, is a soft, voluminous round hat, usually with a round seam that joins the flat crown to the sides.
