This is an authentic leopard fur tam from the 1940s' when it was most fashionable. The lining is made of black fabric, and the band is black grosgrain, with a bow at one side.A tam, short for Tam O’ Shanter, is a soft, voluminous round hat, usually with a round seam that joins the flat crown to the sides.
