This stunning brown felt hat from the 1930s' is quite the fashion statement, This creation is one piece of felt shaped so it has a cap at the bottom, and the top is folded and draped. It is to be worn in a slanted position. It is trimmed withbeautiful mink tails at the front.Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. Folded, molded, and angled felt made hats look like something out of a Picasso painting.There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. The size label states 23, but it has been sewn at one side to fit a size 22 head.This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
