This is a wonderful example of the beautiful millinery fashions of the 1930s'! The small, black straw cap has a half brim on the front, extending down towards one side, and on top of it there is an exquisite long black feather, which extends beyond the bottom of the brim. A full veil completes the mysterious look!Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. Folded, molded, and angled felt made hats look like something out of a Picasso painting. Women’s hats in the 1930s covered the hair and were used to mysteriously cover one eye or the forehead.
