The Emdee Leather Bag by Schell was the premier choice of doctors at this time and this one has survived to live another day.Manufactured by the Emdee Schell Leather Company in the early 1920’s, this bag has a wonderful patina. The Schell Leather Company produced leather goods roughly from the late 1800s or early 20th century until the 1980s. The company was founded in Cincinnati by Albert and Charles J. Schell and moved around Ohio as it grew, before finally settling in St. Petersburg, Florida, after its sale.The bag is approximately 14.5″ long, 7.5″ wide, 6″ deep (open), and 12 1/2″ tall with handles.This bag has not been cleaned with leather polish.The patina is in it's original condition.Handles are in absolute fine shape.The corners of the bag are slightly worn.The inside of the bag has "looped" sections for storage.Also some "loops" for storage on the other side of the bag.The clasp works perfectly.There are four silver tone "feet".
