Signed first edition (print number not stated) hardcover copy of The Living Legacy of the Buddha by Acharya Buddharakkhita (Buddha Vachana Trust, 1979). Part history, part theology, part doctrine and part instruction for the spreading and appreciation of Buddhism. A very rare book printed in India and signed by the author on first page. Moderate shelf wear to covers with corners bumped and both boards slightly bowed. Binding material is visible in a few gutters though spine remains fairly straight. Waviness to endpapers from being glued down to boards and some slight waviness to other pages from apparent humidity exposure. Otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked though tanned.
