Vintage 1978 limited edition print on paper by Victoria Poyser entitled “Another Sky”. Signed in pencil by the artist in lower right. With title and numbered “468/500” in lower left. Signed within print “V Poyser Copyright 1978”. Unframed with original matte.The subject matter is a unicorn galloping through a starry night sky.“Victoria Poyser Lisi (1949- ) is an American artist who specializes in science fiction and fantasy artwork for book and magazine covers. Poyser acquired a BFA from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and went on to become a Science Fiction Fantasy Artist after having been inspired by the World Fantasy Convention in 1979. She has made over a hundred book and magazine covers as well as the interior art for books in the 1980’s, winning her two fan art Hugo Awards in 1981 and 1982.”Condition is used. The exposed area of the print not covered by the matte has discoloration to the paper. The front of the print has remnants of the tape used to adhere it to the matte. The back of the print has old tape attached. The matte and its backing board have fading, creasing, staining and taped areas.
