VTG AMERICAN GIRL SAMANTHA’S BRASS BED WITH 3 PIECE BEDDING 1994 ALL ORIGINAL American Girl Samantha's Brass Bed, a retired accessory for the Samantha doll released by Pleasant Company (now American Girl) in 1986. Key features include: • Design: A three-piece brass-plated metal frame with a white cotton tufted mattress and a matching bedspread, all adorned with pink bows. Three-piece brass bed frame. Headboard and footboard pieces are identical save their height. The upper horizontal bar is topped with two brass curlicues that mirror each other, forming a shape at the center resembling the top of a heart.• Era: Reflects the Edwardian era of 1904, when Samantha's story is set.• Collectibility: Original versions like this one especially those with soft white cloth bodies, are highly sought after by collectors. •• Rarity: Discontinued in 2008 but rereleased in 2014 and again as a special edition in 2021, making the original brass bed a vintage item.Please note one bottom foot leg stopper missing and 2 small brown stains on the pillow back. Bedding needs some washing but not touching it due to its collectability. Minor scratches on brass due to its age but overall great condition.
