This is a rare Nippon Yoko Boeki marked glamour girl lady head vase. I think she was probably modelled after Marilyn Monroe. She has a semi glossy finish and is wearing a pink dress. She has 3-D eyelashes and the black makers mark. I think this is an early head vase probably from the 1950s. She is the perfect size for makeup brushes on the vanity. I have listed a large collection of head vases with several rare ones so please check my other listings. Condition: Very good original condition, no chips or cracks but she is crazed throughout (see photos.) This is not noticeable unless you are examining her under strong light. Her eyelashes are intact. Approx. size: 5" h x 4" w Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever". Each of us has a different idea of what "beauty" is.
