A rare, antique, illustrated French book from 1851.Very pretty & collectible example of 19th century ornate decorative paper binding from France.3 engravings throughout the book!A gilded cartonnage book with a solid binding.Gray decorative cover with most of its gilt trim decoration still vibrant.The book has been well loved!The spine & pages are secure but the spine has some paper missing & part of it is missing at the top & bottom.The edges of the cover & corners have wear & some rips & tears.
