Signed (by son, Bill Vukovich II) first edition (print number not stated) hardcover copy of Vukovich: An Inspiring Story of American Achievement by Bob Gates (Witness Productions, 2004). Tells the amazing life story of American race car legend and winner of two Indianapolis 500 races as well as other championship races. He died tragically while leading in the 1955 Indy 500 and his sons carried on his racing legacy, this is the story of Bill, his family and his legacy. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and slight shelf wear around the edges. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding material is faintly visible in a few gutters and spine is slightly cocked though binding remains strong on the whole. All pages clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
