Bought new in April 2012 from bestbuy. My daughter (at 2 decided it was her dance stage) and I just never had a chance to fix it. Screen is shattered, what apple told me was that the safety switch under the keyboard is broken. Essentially, it did an emergency shutdown due to the damage my 2 year old did while dancing on the keyboard. Apple says it’s good but it’s too old for Genius Bar to fix. Figured I could sell it for pennies now that I paid off credit card. Last I knew, Everything works if you can get it to boot up. I always meant to get it fixed, but it just never happened. Someone who knows what they’re doing could have better luck!
