Released in honor of his retirement after the 2015-2016 season, each shoe signifies a different world city, with the locations denoted by GPS coordinates on the boxes. The collection comprises 13 sneakers, referencing the cinematic practice of ending a film through gradual darkening to black. Starting with the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4, the first chronological shoe worn by Bryant, subsequent styles were released in a gradation of darker shades, from white through various grays to purple, blue, and finally black.
