This industrial electric table fan is by Diehl Mfg Co, Cat #D16AJ16. Made of sturdy gray steel with a heavy steel base, the fan has a steel cage with four large blades that spin when the black 7.5’ electrical cord is plugged in & the Low to High side knob is turned on. Fan also has a pivot head & an oscillating feature that turns the steel cage. Motor is 110/120 volts, 60 cycle & 1.4 amp. Fan is very heavy at 17.5 lbs & measures 20” long across the cage, 12” wide & 22” high. Diehl Mfg Co produced these electrical fans in the 1950’s & this fan is in wonderful antique condition. Works very well releasing cool to cold air, both stationary & oscillating & primarily on High. There are expected scratches & markings from age & all parts have been wiped down as best can be but there are a few inside areas that still have dust & soot. See all photos. A true collector’s piece, this large antique electrical fan is perfect to use indoors or outdoors & to display wonderfully with any type of decor.
