1st Edition; 2nd printing of 1966 Collector's Edition of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic The Lord of The Rings. This one volume hardcover book contains all 3 books (The Fellowship of the Ring, the Two Towers, and The Return of the King). This red-leather, hardcover book comes with a slipcase. Fans of the Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, or the Silmarillion will love this nearly 60 year old collector's edition.
This book is in good vintage condition, but it has some flaws: See photo of the rear of the book (there is a crack on the spine and there's some discoloration on the outside...appears to be a stain of some kind). The inside front cover has a nameplate attached and there's some writing on that inside cover (see photo).
The pages are in good shape though (no highlighting, tears, etc.).
This is a beautiful book and a really nice first edition copy of The Lord of the Rings.
