Here we have a gorgeous, vintage, Givenchy, heart pendant and chain. The heart is hollow and puffed, but still quite hefty. There are two ribbons of pavé rhinestones that cross across the front, with plain ribbons continuing in the back. The matching chain is very long, measuring about 43 inches from clasp to clasp with a drop of around 17 inches from the top of the neck. Both the heart and chain are gold plated with a satin-matte finish. There is a fold-over clasp with the famous, early, Givenchy logo of 2 Gs on each side of the clasp. I am guessing that this necklace dates from the mid 60s to early 80s. This was quite a fashionable piece in its time and would have been sold in only the best of jewelry and department stores.
