What an incredibly fashionable hat from the fabulous 1930s'! The hat is made of brown felt sculptured into an amazing shape, as seen on the photos. Around the felt structure there are two "wings" on the sides, which are covered in fur. There is a felt bow at the front. Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. Folded, molded, and angled felt made hats look like something out of a Picasso painting.There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation.This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
