RARE Vintage Harris Tweed Blazer

Vintage Harris Tweed Jacket. Made by Alexandre of England, Savile Row, London, with their two Royal Warrants (HM Queen Elizabeth II and HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother) proudly displayed on the right-hand label. The fabric is Hand Woven Harris Tweed from the Outer Hebrides; the certification number for this is on the left-hand label. A classic English gentleman's jacket for either town or country.The jacket has no size label (it may have been made to measure) but it is probably a UK Large or X Large. Please use the measurements below.Pit to Pit is 23" Collar to Hem is 33" and Shoulder to Cuff is 27".Harris Tweed is a very special fabric; it must, by law, be produced from yarn which is made from 100% pure new wool which has been dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and woven by hand at the homes of local islanders.
