DEAD US ARMY PATIENTS EFFECTS BAG-LARGE US Army Patient Effects Bag
This is a genuine US Army personal effects bag.
Issued in the 1970s to US military personnel to hold valuables and personal items, including toiletries. It's a hospital personal bag. The US Army Medical Department mark is printed on the front of the bag, and there's a white patch on the back for writing names and initials. The inside is constructed like a cylindrical drawstring bag, with half of the interior waterproofed, the same specification as the PE (Patient Effects) bag from the Vietnam War era.
Purchased new and unused from a military surplus store in Seattle.
