This is a listing for a vintage Levi's 505 from the early 66 era.
This is a highly sought-after vintage Levi's 505. While it was produced during the same period as the early 66 501, it features the details of a 505.
The 505 is characterized by its 42 talon brass zipper fly, slightly tapered silhouette, and denim fabric that shrinks less.
A notable feature is the presence of red selvedge.
Red selvedge is not typically found on the 505, making this a rare find, perhaps only one in dozens.
The condition is excellent, with only minor wear on the crotch and a small repair.
There is no wear on the hem.
Details include a yellow chain stitch hem, single stitch on the coin pocket and back pocket lining, and a top button with a 5 on the back. Unfortunately, the inner tag is faded and illegible.
It's rare to find a 505 in such good condition and close to a golden size, especially with red selvedge.
