This deadstock item with its true indigo color and attached tag is extremely rare. It's perfect for wearing and breaking in, or for adding to your collection.

This is a rare vintage Levi's 505 -0217 red tab from the 1970s.
Made in 1978, Far East Levi's, made in Hong Kong (button back 347).
Far East models are far less common than those made in the USA.
Unlike the Levi's 501, the ancestor of denim, this 505 was developed in the early 1960s for the East Coast of the United States as a streetwear rather than workwear model.
The front features a zipper, which is more convenient than a button fly, and the denim fabric is treated with a shrink-resistant finish.
As is the fate of old things, vintage 505s from before the 1970s are becoming increasingly scarce, and good condition or brand new (deadstock) items are rare.
This is a piece from the denim giant Levi's, and prices are on the rise, so why not take advantage of this opportunity?
