During the Japanese asset price bubble from 1986-1991, Tokyo business men became exceptionally wealthy, often purchasing new wardrobes from the best designers. Raglan sleeve overcoats and trench coats were particularly popular-this Burberrys’ (made in England) trench, size 48 (or Medium) has the original owner’s initials on each inside pocket.An excellent (and rare) example entirely made in England for the Japanese market. Fits relaxed over a suit or light spring layers, hitting at or just below the knee. A cool-tone beige that works with blues and greys. Selling as I am moving to LA (where it never rains 🤷♂️).
