Victorian Woman in Hat
This is for a wonderful small Victorian / Art Nouveau / Edwardian Lady Spelter statue. The metal bust sits on a stone column and base which is bolted together. No signature or makers marker noted. Similar to Sylvain Kinsburger style and other Sculpture Artists from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. It is a great little piece of history that looks wonderful sitting among other antiques or perhaps as part of a dressing set or next to picture frames in a curio cabinet.
This vintage piece is a bust of a woman with a fancy tri-corner hat and measures: 5 inches tall x 2 3/4 inches wide x 1 3/4 inches deep.
Slight damage to base; chips ~ see photos for any blemishes.
**Spelter is a zinc–lead alloy that ages to resemble bronze.
