Darling Vintage Eight (8) Sided (Octagon) Box with String Handle.
I really don't know what this is! Message me if you know what this is. I'm guessing there was a child's toy/accessory inside at one time.
Each of the 8 sides has an image: Rabbit, Squirrel, Butterfly, Dog, Cat with a Bow, Bird, Duck with a Bow and Bonnet, and a Person with a Straw Conical Hat and Straw Broom. Three (3) of the sides resemble Blue Delft. The top slides along the string and the bottom is stationary and has a hole in the middle.
It is made of plastic, approximately 2 in diameter and 1 3/4 tall. It is dated back at least to the 1950s.
There are no identification markings on this item.
This is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or marks.
Selling as is; this has not been cleaned.
