This is a framed late Margaret Keane sketch art. SadIy Margaret passed in 12/22. It’s in a 11 x 14 frame (a tiny bit smaller then the frame) but I don’t think it’s noticeable but you can always purchase your own frame. Keane art was mass produced in the 60’s by her late husband Walter Keane who passed in 2000 I would imagine this was one of them, but can’t say for sure so buyer accepts this! It’s titled at the bottom; “Head of Girl” printed in Japan, and signed MH Keane as this is what Margaret Keane began doing with her signature as she became more frustrated with Walter taking credit for her art to separate in her mind, I believe she used the initials MH distinguishing M as Margaret and H as her maiden initial, and her art from actually being sold as his work!
