Antique Vintage Sterling Silver Peacock Eye Brooch, Victorian.
Stamped as pictured sterling setting. When I got it it was in this box I don’t know if it originally came in it or not but box is included. From what I have read these are from Victorian Era. Both peacock and decadent literature have emphasized timelessness, immortality, vanity, wealth, and opulence. If you google peacocks it’s amazing at the superstitious views that were associated with them! Dating back even to biblical times believing they were in the garden of Eden. My price is firm and I will purchase insurance when shipped.
