This distinctive tantalus set includes a short molded glass decanter and four small glasses, perfect for adding a touch of vintage charm to any bar. The small wood chest is embellished with a rich, emerald green embossed paper with bright red accents. Originally designed between 1850 and 1900 to secure expensive liquor from household staff.
Marked: Made in Japan (foil label on the bottom of the wood cabinet), Decanter is marked Japan .

Glasses: 2.5 tall with a 1.5-inch opening
Condition: Glass decanter is in very good usable condition with a tightly sealed plastic stopper. One of the glasses has 2 tiny chips along the inside edge. The outside of the wooden chest shows wear with small chips, tears, scratches, scuffs, etc. It could use a good cleaning but I will leave that up to the buyer.
