Really nice style in this piece. The artist builds up piles of color and sculpts out texture to create something more akin to the objects portrayed in the still life. There are even a few spots where he has completely removed paint down to the canvas to make subject appear carved, well they are.
Picture is signed Redmond on the right side of the table. There's a neat little carved lizard on the left side of it.
I can't seem to locate any other pieces on the market signed as his middle name.
Sits in a lovely textured frame and has a dust cover on the reverse side. All it needs is to be hung!
Frame measures just under 13 wide and 11 tall.
The canvas itself is 10 × 8 .
