Montblanc Meisterstuck Marcel Proust LTD Edition Ballpoint Pen

Many of my clients know I have collected very specific items over the years. One of them is writing instruments. In an effort to scale down my collections to my absolute favorites, I have chosen to keep my fountain pens and letting some of my ballpoints in the same family go.This particular pen is very near and dear to my heart.It is one of the most collectable of Montblanc's Writer's Edition.This is the Sterling Silver Marcel Proust. I used it previously on very special occasions, so I will refer to it as "previously loved". It is in excellent condition with the expected patina one would expect from a Sterling Silver writing instrument. I prefer to have it just a touch oxidized, giving it that romantic Parisian flair that Proust was noted for.As one of the most popular French authors and philosophers of his time, Proust fascinated his readers with his books and brilliantly observed descriptions of people.His most important work "Remembrance of Things Past" is his most well known writing.-Made in Germany in 1999.
