Montblanc F. Scott Fitzgerald Writers Edition Ballpoint Pen BNIB

As a tribute to one of the most famous authors of the Jazz Age in The Golden 20's, Montblanc created this pen in homage to F. Scott Fitzgerald.This writing instrument is an obvious nod to one of his greatest, most well known novels, "The Great Gatsby".The body of the pen is a magnificent swirling pattern in resin that gives the allure of champagne splashing into a crystal glass, or the iridescence found in multiple strands of pearls.The piano-black resin top harkens to the day of tops and tails on stately tuxedo'd gentlemen carrying ebony canes with ringed accents. The pen is in fabulous shape with no cracks or fissures in the resin.The metal castings have a patina favorable for its age.This is one of my favorite pens of all time.-YEAR: 1999-ENGRAVING: F.
