Onyx Gold Filled Scarab Earrings Egyptian Revival 1/20 GF Screw RARE BeadRage
Expertly carved top side and bottom (underneath) genuine jet black Onyx scarabs. Most excellent detail to the frames. Looks like black hills gold kind of motif with a hint of copper accents. This set comes from my own personal collection of Egyptian. I picked them up in Egypt early 90's - no clue how old they are. On the sides of the screw back finding they are stamped 1/20th but you will need a magnifying glass to see it or at least I do. They drop down an overall length of 1.25 . The scarabs have very fine signature of the carver underneath which shows thru the finding. Just an excellent pair but sadly another one and only.
