An impressive one of a kind 'Sceptered' Herkimer Diamond from the Crystal Grove Mine, Saint Johnsville, NY. This is an extremely unique form from this locality. This was from the mine owners personal collection. He said he had never seen a specimen come out of his mine like this one. Black Anthraxolite cores are found within each Herkimer Diamond in the cluster. The two main crystals are semi tabular and twinned. High luster and sharp terminations. There is a lot to appreciate in this specimen. It looks much better in person.
