A very rare locality specimen of Pomegranate Red Octahedral Fluorite from Gunnison County, Colorado, USA. This near impossible to find locality produced some of the richest pomegranate pink and red Fluorite crystals ever found in Colorado. The specimen has etched faces that have a beautiful distinctive luster to them. This color variation is unique to this region. Most Fluorite produced at this locality were purple with this being the rarest color. Its a partial crystal with great transparency. This is a well terminated partial crystal with good color saturation and transparency.
