TWO African American dolls from the movie GONE WITH THE WIND GWTW HATTIE MCDANIEL as Mam. Both dolls are extremely rare to find in this large size. THE FRANKLIN MINT DOLL is 20” HAS one CHIPPED FOOT AND THE OTHER FOOT IS BROKEN WITH THE PIECES as shown in pictures. The vinyl 18” maid is Hattie McDaniel and has a spot on the nose as shown in pictures. THE dolls should be in a GWTW GONE WITH THE WIND or Civil War museum. There are many of the small dolls out, but these large size dolls were a limited edition to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the movie in 1989. The actual movie was released in 1939. This a great collectible for vintage movie fans and Gone With the Wind Fans, Vivien Leigh Scarlett O’Hara Rhett Butler fans, and Windy’s. Also, African American memorabilia and Civil War Memorabilia.
