As I said in the comment, I don't know much about this rare collectors edition, but here is what I know. The Death Note Collector's Edition was released on September 23, 2008. To my knowledge, the edition was released alongside Naruto and Bleach (I am not sure if One Piece got one). To my knowledge, this edition is the only hardback cover of Death Note ever released, due to the fact there are only the singles, black editions, and the all-in-one editions.
