This is a Seat Belt Tensioner / Buckle from a 2006 Mini Cooper Convertible (R52). The part is listed elsewhere as fitting all the 1st generation MINI Cooper and Cooper S models including 2002-2006 R50 & R53 Hardtop and 2005-2008 R52 Convertible. Fits a bunch of BMW models too. I think it's OEM Part # 72111485967, but see pics.
The buckle / latch works great, without issue, but the casing is cracked (see pics). Price reduced accordingly. Casing does not affect the seat belt function at all (i.e., seat belt latches and unlatches just fine), and can probably be easily fixed with some glue or heat.
Part sells aftermarket used for about 100.
