This is a nice VG8 grade Liberty Seated Quarter minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1853. It is 90% silver and contains .18 ounces of silver.
This is the only year of the Seated Liberty quarter type with Arrows at the date and Rays around the Eagle. In 1852, neither, and in 1854 no Rays.
This is an important coin to complete any type set.
