I used this lens for astrophotography.
The exterior is clean, with the exception of the scratch in the second photo.
The lens surfaces have no scratches or large dust particles, but there is some minor dust and slight haze. This does not affect image quality, but please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
It comes with front and rear caps, but the hood is missing.
