Pair of antique Miniature Pressed Milk Glass Candlesticks. Each stick measures approx. 3.5 tall and the bases are approx. 2 in diameter. The milk glass is very slightly transparent at the very edges of the top and it has the very pale light blueish tint to it that you see on earlier milk glass. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or repairs. This set of candle holders is made in the French Swirl pattern by Portieux Vallerysthal in France. These were made in a 3 part mold in the 1920's. They are in beautiful vintage condition with no chips. They are about about 3 1/2 in height and the base is about 1 3/4 in diameter. There are some marks by the mold markings--probably when taken out of the mold. This candlestick holder can be found in the book The Glass Candlestick Book by Felt and Stoer. It is in the back under toy Candlestick holders.
