No other vintage Coach bag says the Y2K era to me than the Mercer line. Made from 1998 to 2002, the Mercer vintage line is fun, light and departs from Coach standard fare. For one, some of the bags like this one (not the twill) are made from customized neoprene-like fabric, similar to the one used in deep sea diving suits. It was treated to withstand water and is easy to clean. Plus, the bags are spongy!
The previous owner told me the pouch was purchased and never used.
