This listing is for a stunning hand woven maxed fiber wall hanging featuring an abstract, nature inspired design in retro color palette. It appears this wall hanging was fully hand made. The execution of the weave is rustic and textural, I wonder whether a loom was even used. Perhaps this tapestry was made on a weaving frame. Love both, the design as well as the sophisticated color palette of this piece. The fiber varies from jute and cotton to various synthetics, and even natural moss. There is a piece of tape on the back of the tapestry with perhaps the artist's name Beverly J. Allen.
The wall hanging measures approximately 22 x 20 (including the wood), plus 8 in height, if you add the hanging string. It is in nice/rustic vintage condition.
