Wonderful long white nightgown in a thin cotton gauze - perfect for warm summer nights. Accented with machine-made lace on the neckline raglan sleeves & skirt, the nightgown looks like old-fashioned Victorian sleepwear but was made in the USA vintage 1970's/80's by Cole of California, a company that's over 100 years old. They're famous for their swimwear so maybe this gown was meant to be a swimsuit cover-up...though it's a bit long for that. Bonus: the dress would work as a ghost costume! In very good vintage condition.
