The Konica FT-1 Motor Camera has an electronically controlled Copal shutter and a built-in 2 fps film motor winder. It is the only electronic Konica Single Lens Reflex camera to offer AE Lock. The camera is powered by four AAA alkaline batteries that fit into the grip on the right front of the camera. The ASA setting dial is around the manual film rewind knob. The camera has a built-in self-timer and a bright viewfinder with LED that show exposure information. Exposures may be set manually, or automatically in a shutter priority mode where the photographer chooses the shutter speed and the camera sets the aperture.The FT-1 camera has flash functions with dedicated flash units. When using a dedicated flash, the camera automatically sets the shutter to a speed of 1/90 second. On the left front of the camera is an electronic socket that interfacing with cable switch.
