Pollini: Luxurious & glamorous soft-white textured leather Pollini booties with ice-clear, transparent/ faux marble heels. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Size 38.5 Made in Italy. These boots were purchased at a major Manhattan department store for $450. Worn once, then I stopped dating the tall guy and opted for lower shoes. Very comfortable, though, for this heel height. Super well-made. Two tiny tan areas of soil are visible on the left boot AND MAY BE CLEANABLE— I never tried - and barely visible. Last photo shows both. One on bottom outside edge of arch (circled in green) and the other a dot on the front ankle portion, about a half inch down from top. Pollini was founded in 1953 in San Mauro Pascoli, a small town in Emilia Romagna. With time, this area became an authentic shoemaking district thanks to the local highly skilled artisans.
