Extasia Portia Glass Cameo Pearl Crystal Necklace Taupe Intaglio Brass Pendant

The Portia cameo necklace hangs from a beautiful freshwater pearl and crystal necklace that combines perfectly with the delicate brass twining swirl-filled octagonal brass setting for the round glass intaglio pendant. Note the lovely etched design on the side of the setting. Necklace length: 17” inches around plus 1.5” pendant drop. Transparent taupe, Extasia’s pale brown color, German glass intaglio in a large 1.5” diameter organic design setting pendant. Not signed, but easily identifiable as Extasia. NOTE: I think I have earring to go with this necklace and am looking!Extasia glass cameos and itaglios are handmade in Europe by a small number of artisans using 100 year old techniques;it is a dying art. The beautiful settings are original designs by Stephanie Freydont and her design team. The pieces are set and assembled in their California studio. I became obsessed with cameos. I stumbled upon Extasia at a museum shop, and it was love at first sight. It wasn’t until recently, on their Facebook page, that I found out that Extasia was responsible for the jewelry I’d been swooning over. Meant to be!
