The ultra strong Abus Granit Detecto 8077 disc lock, with built-in alarm, combined with a specially adapted 12mm maximum security chain with noose ring. All components, the 13mm security bolt, supporting elements of the locking system and the 12mm noose chains are made from special hardened steel. The built-in 3D positioning 100dB alarm system adds an extra security element to the entire system.
Powered by 2 standard AAA batteries, the 100dB alarm activates automatically when placed on the disc. A multi-color LED provides information on armed status and battery life. Any shock or movement of the lock causes the 3D positioning system to set off the alarm for about 15 seconds. Then it resets itself into activated mode. Without the alarm function, the 8077 Detecto is still one of the toughest disc locks available.
