Art deco Black Enamel Compact with Maltese Cross Rare Chevelier Garde Perfums
Not much is known about the Chevelier Garde Perfume company, looks to have been established in the late 1930's, I can't really find a whole lot more beyond that.
The compact is heavy for its size and is encased in a very thick black enamel with a white enamel Maltese Cross. Measures 2 1/2 inches square and 3/8 thick. All latches work exactly as you would expect. Has original branded gauze in great condition.
